Prineville Reservoir State Park — Main Campground

About the Campground

Oregon Parks identifies tent sites, electrical sites, full-hookup sites and deluxe cabins at the main Prineville Reservoir campground. This listing excludes the separate Jasper Point campground and primitive shoreline camps.

Official trip-planning information

Main park at Prineville Reservoir, south of Prineville, Oregon. Official park directions point, not an individual campsite or verified fishing access point; not Jasper Point Campground.

Checked October 17, 2026: the operator describes year-round camping at the main campground, not a guaranteed 2027 calendar or available reservation. A September 8, 2026 notice reports main camp open with reduced water-recreation facilities. Confirm your dates, fire restrictions and service availability directly.

The official page identifies shore fishing, a fishing pier and a main day-use ramp. Its September 8, 2026 notice closes the day-use ramps to motorized launching and closes moorage for low water; non-motorized launching is still listed. This dated notice takes precedence over the general year-round-ramp FAQ. Check current ramp conditions and Oregon fishing rules before travel. No matching Oregon reservoir profile is currently linked in Outland Atlas.

Optional tent-camping equipment
